Dear me, Andy, you have it all wrong!

Don't you realise that the great General saved Chile from the evils of marxism? [And by "marxism" I mean "parliamentary democracy"].

Let's not forget his unswerving commitment to human rights and the rule of law.

Oh yeah, and who could deny his impressive loyalty to his political patron, Salvador Allende.

"otherwise excellent"? Don't like the sentiment or the song? (I think that album is patchy at best to be honest, and that song is no great shakes).

Oddly, I posted the post with the (excellent) song Tramp the dirt down in mind.
